We get things wrong sometimes, and platform rules change constantly. Both produce errors, and both get fixed the same way: openly.
How to report an error
Use the correction form, or email [PLACEHOLDER — email]. Tell us the page, what is wrong, and a source if you have one. Reports from readers are treated as seriously as our own reviews.
What happens next
| Severity | What we do | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Typo or broken link | Fixed silently | [PLACEHOLDER — e.g. within a week] |
| Outdated fee, price or rule | Updated, last-reviewed date changed | [PLACEHOLDER — e.g. 3 working days] |
| Factual error that could affect a decision | Corrected, with a dated correction note at the foot of the article | [PLACEHOLDER — e.g. 48 hours] |
| Error serious enough to change the article’s conclusion | Corrected, noted at the top of the article, and the original wording quoted in the note | [PLACEHOLDER] |
We do not quietly delete articles to hide mistakes. If an article is withdrawn, the URL explains why.
