Editorial Policy

Who writes here

Every article is written by a named person whose relevant experience is listed on their author page. We do not publish under invented names, shared bylines, or a generic “editorial team” byline.

How an article is made

  1. Topic selection. We pick topics readers are actively searching for and that we can answer honestly.
  2. Intent check. We work out what someone searching this actually wants, and whether an article can deliver it.
  3. Outline review. An editor approves the structure before drafting.
  4. First-hand input. Where the topic requires experience, we get it from someone who has it — or we state clearly that the article is based on documentation rather than personal use.
  5. Drafting. Written by a human. AI tools may be used for research assistance, outlining or editing suggestions; every published sentence is reviewed, verified and edited by the named author.
  6. Fact check. A second person verifies claims against primary sources. See our fact-checking policy.
  7. Disclosure review. Affiliate and sponsored relationships are labelled before publication.
  8. SEO review. Structure and metadata are checked. We do not add keywords at the cost of clarity.
  9. Publication and monitoring. Reader feedback and correction reports are reviewed regularly.
  10. Scheduled updates. Every article has a review interval. Fees, prices and platform rules are the first thing re-checked.

What we refuse to publish

  • Guaranteed-income claims, “get rich quick” framing, fake urgency or fabricated scarcity.
  • Fabricated earnings screenshots, testimonials, credentials or case studies.
  • Advice that would help anyone commit fraud, abuse a platform’s terms, spam, or manipulate reviews.
  • Content that a payment bought. Sponsorship buys placement and labelling, never a verdict.

AI use

AI tools may assist with research, outlining and editing. They do not write our published articles unsupervised, they are never the source of a factual claim, and the named author is accountable for every word. If we ever change this, this page changes first.

Independence

Advertisers, affiliate partners and sponsors have no access to unpublished articles and no say in editorial decisions. Where we earn from a link, the article says so at the top.
